At the first sight of lightning or sound of thunder, the game or practice will be stopped. At this point all players should be removed from the dugouts
(or from the benches in the case of Tee Ball) with directions from their manager or umpire to seek shelter until further notice.

The best shelter is in a secure building or in a car with the windows rolled up. Not the Dugouts.
Games and/or practices may not resume until 30 minutes has passed without ANY lightning or thunder.
If the game or practice is delayed more than 60 minutes, the game or practice will be cancelled or rescheduled according to field availability.

Major/Minor Game and Ump Schedule as of 5/18/12

This week TWLL received a very important donation of two Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) from Matt Stewart and the Wayne Township Fire Department for whom he works.  Matt is a TWLL Dad and President of the Pittsboro All Pro Dads program, so it makes this donation even more special that someone from within our community stepped up to make this happen.  AEDs are very expensive; therefore, this donation has been a big cost savings to the league as well.  Now that we have these, one will be placed in the concessions stand at Lizton and the second one will be placed in the Scott Park concessions stand as a backup to the original one we already own.  Next year when we have a concessions stand in Scamahorn Park (to serve the existing Tee Ball field, new Rookie field, and new Majors/Minor field) we will place the third AED in there so we have one at all TWLL locations.  As you see Matt around the baseball fields, please tell him Thank You for this great donation to TWLL, which helps us be better prepared in the event an AED is needed in an emergency medical situation.






Starting Wednesday January 4, 2012 Pittsboro Pizzeria (892-3344 / 91 N. Maple) will donate 10% of their net sales (on the first Wednesday of each month) to Tri-West Little League Baseball.  Please mention "Bruins Baseball" when you place your order so the league can receive this benefit.  Thank You David and Kelly Gordon for supporting TWLL!!!
